My passion for PASTEL PAINTING and DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY has been inspired by my Southern France, Perpignan base and its proximity to Catalunia. Although I also spend time every year in Italy, Morocco and England, it is the ROUSSILLON and CATALAN regions that have driven my visual interest


This is an area where the MAJESTIC PYRENEES tumble down into the GLISTENING MEDITERRANEAN
An area where FRENCH, CATALANS & SPANISH blend together to create a unique mouth watering mix of CULTURE, GEOGRAPHY AND COLOUR


This spectacular and yet relatavely unheralded area has already been a major VISUAL INSPIRATION to some famous artists: MATISSE, DUFY, CHAGALL, PICASSO, BRAQUES, DALI, MIRO, MACINTOSH and many, many more


I count myself fortunate to have been able to live in this area and free to work on my art. I have had the time and growing confidence to DISCOVER and PORTRAY THESE AREAS IN MY VERY OWN WAY
